On September 14, 2024, we lost an incredible man - Joe Bieszczak. Though ALS marked his final year, it never defined him. Joe was a hardworking, self-made business owner who spent his life doing what he loved. Off the clock, he found joy in golf, good scotch, and cheering on all things Cincinnati sports (regardless of heartbreak).
He raised his children with unwavering love, support, and the freedom to chase their dreams - a gift we carry forward with pride. This year, we walk in honor of the legacy he left behind: one of generosity, grit, and finding joy in the present. From adding a dog named Scotch to the family to feeling his presence at our wedding, we’re doing our best to celebrate Joe every day.
Join Team Bzak on September 28 as we walk for Joe and the many families affected by ALS. Whether walking with us or donating from afar, we appreciate your support in helping us fight for a future without ALS.

That’s why we’re participating in the Walk ALS event. To bring hope. To raise awareness. To provide resources and services to families free of charge. To help unlock the mystery of ALS and find the key to treatments a cure. Will you join us?
ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
