Indian Hill Against ALS
Thank you for supporting us in our fight against ALS! Every donation counts!
What is ALS?
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease, is a neurodegenerative disease that deteriorates the nerve cell in the brain and spinal cord. Over time, this leads to difficulty walking, moving, speaking, and breathing. Every year, about five thousand people are informed that their condition is fatal and that there is no cure. Most people diagnosed with the disease pass away two to five years after their diagnosis.
What is our goal?
By donating to our cause, you are funding research toward finding a cure for ALS. You are providing care services for those who have been diagnosed. You are raising awareness for the cause. Indian Hill Against ALS thanks you for your contribution!
When and where is the walk?
Indian Hill students! Join us to walk for a cure at Winton Woods Park on September 22nd at 11 AM!
