Columbus Walk ALS

Mighty Mighty Moores

We walk in honor of our family members (in the order we lost them): Betty (Moore) Harvey, James Moore, Lora Jean (Moore) Morgan, my Mom - Karen (Moore) Hollingsworth, Carole (Moore) Hoffman, and Vonnetta (Moore) Hart fought ALS and/or ALS-related dementia (FTD/ALZ). We also walk for our cousin who has recently been diagnosed with FTD.

My grandparents have more than 100 descendants. ALS and/or FTD will impact our family again. We raise money and walk to find treatments and cures for all of these diseases, in hopes that future generations will not have to suffer from neurological diseases.

To all of you who have supported us in the past, THANK YOU! Your gifts have allowed The ALS Association to provide services to people with ALS in Ohio, in the form of ALS clinics, equipment/devices, nursing and social work services, and support group meetings. Your gifts have fueled incredible research projects, which are finding more familial ALS genes and new treatments: Relyvrio and Qalsody (tofersen).

In 2023, we are raising money and walking for our 17th year! Our Mighty Mighty Moore teams, and our partnership with the Fry Guys (who donated their annual garage sale money), have raised over $144,000. Will you join our fight?

Please consider walking with us or making a donation AND encouraging friends and family to get involved.

As always, thank you for your generous support! Those of you who have supported us the entire way, you amaze and astound with your generosity!!

Love, Debbie
