Welcome to My Personal Page
As many of you know my brother Jimmy was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) a little over two years ago. THERE IS NO TREATMENT OR CURE. Jimmy’s progression has been such that he is unable to walk without aid and has restricted use of both arms. His attitude on life has always been great but it is shining through with flying colors now. I am so proud of his courageous battle and attitude. Whenever he gets a chance, he tells people “Just because life isn’t fair doesn’t mean it can’t be good”. He is living life to the fullest. In case you missed it he threw out the first pitch at a Cincinnati Reds game in June. It was ALS day and there were over 100 family and friends there supporting him.
For the benefit of others with ALS Jimmy has participated in two studies where he takes a drug not knowing whether it is the placebo or the drug they are testing. He is all about creating awareness for ALS.
I am once again raising funds for the walk to help my brother and all others that have been diagnosed with ALS. I am also honored to be giving one of the opening speeches at the Cincinnati walk on 9/17/23
