Welcome to My Personal Page
Honor the memory of DOTA (Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen) Leslie Edwards, Jr., 1924-2019. DOTA Edwards served in the US Army, 1943-1945, and overcame many obstacles to become a Tuskegee Airmen Flight Chief. Veterans are much more likely than others to be afflicted by ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and Mr. Edwards suffered from ALS. Mr. Edwards’ grandfather was Rev. W.H.G. Carter, who pastored the Church of the Unitarian Brotherhood in Cincinnati’s West End a century ago. Leslie Edwards, Jr. was a member of the Gathering at Northern Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and his family has asked us to support this cause.
