Dear Friends,

Thank you for helping me reach my Walk ALS fundraising goal! Walk ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.

There are so many worthy causes in the world today--so many calls to action, so many communities in need. I understand that deeply. But I'm reaching out today to ask for your support for something that has become profoundly personal: the fight against ALS.

ALS, a progressive and currently incurable disease, robs people of their ability to move, speak, and eventually breathe. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is just 2.5 years. That's the harsh reality--but it's not the full story.

The full story includes hope. It includes progress in research, dedicated scientists, and a resilient community of people with ALS and their families who are not giving up. It includes you.

On Saturday, September 28, I will be participating in the Cincinnati Walk to Defeat ALS, and I would be honored if you would walk with me, support me, or donate to help fuel the fight. Every step we take together, every dollar we raise, helps push forward research, fund patient care, and bring us closer to a cure.

What's made the biggest difference for me since my diagnosis isn't just medicine--it's community. It's the friends, family, and supporters who remind me every day that I'm not alone. That kind of love and support is powerful. It gives us strength. It gives us purpose. And it gives us momentum. Let's use that momentum to make real change.
