I was diagnosed with ALS in October 2025. While it was devastating news, it has also pushed me to live life more fully and with more appreciation, gratitude, and joy. 

Having others join me on this walk helps me stay positive, knowing that I have a Circle of Strength -- my team name -- surrounding me.

While there is no cure, my hope is that the research supported by this walk will some day find a cure for others in the future. ALS Ohio has been wonderful in offering support and guidance, so participating in this walk is my small way of giving back.
