The last time Joe ever went for a ride in the convertibleâ'¦
Help me put an end to ALS.
As you know, this is very personal for me. Joe was diagnosed 2-1/2 years ago with this devastating disease. It has robbed him of the ability to speak, to eat, to walk, to enjoy life. We dreamed of our golden years together, but ALS has robbed us of that dream. Each day I have to watch Joe lose a little more of his life. ALS is dehumanizing, demoralizing and depressing. I don’t want anyone else to lose their loved one to this vicious disease.
There is no cure. There is no known cause. In this day and age, with the technology we have, we should be further along in finding the cure. That takes money and attention. I can’t do anything to turn this around for Joe, but I can raise money in his honor.
Many of you have contributed in previous years or for my FB birthday fundraiser. Thank you again for your involvement. If you’re so inclined to be generous again, Joe and I would greatly appreciate it.
