Welcome to Connie's Personal Page

I walk every year in memory of my beloved late brother in law, Jim Hunt. Never did he complain about being afflicted with ALS; he tried to do as much as he could do for himself until his body just refused to listen. He was beautifully cared for by my dear sister, his wife, Bonnie. Together they were "Team Hunt" and got through the most trying of times. She took such wonderful care of Jim until his final minutes at home.
If you are a donor who has given to my efforts in the past, God bless you. I know there are so many places where you could chose to support their mission. If you are a new donor, many thanks for your support. Last year, I was honored to be recognized as the highest individual fundraiser at the Dayton, OH walk. I could never have done so without you and your generosity.
So that is why we HATE ALS...knowing that the ife expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure. Jim was diagnosed in 2019 and passed away in the summer of 2020.
This is why I continue to fundraise for ALS; to give hope to future victims and their families. But we can't stop now. The key to a cure begins with you.
I ask that you will consider sponsoring me with whatever size gift you may give... With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
Thank you so very much.
