Welcome to Mary Frees ALS WALK Page
Joe and Mary Fall of 2021
Thank you for helping me reach my Walk ALS fundraising goal! Walk ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
As you all know, my husband , Joey, was diagnosed with ALS in November of 2020. These past 5 years have been quite an adventure. During this journey with a progressing ALS, we have had 3 of our 4 children get married, we were blessed with 2 granddaughters, also Joe Willie and Molly have had their son Jameson and now Dillon and Corynne are expecting in October.
I'm walking to change the ALS statistics, to bring help and hope to those living with the disease and to ensure that no one ever hears the words: "You have ALS" again.
Joey and I work hard at just keeping life normal by still traveling, spending lots of time with our kids and grand-kids, having friends over for dinners, having Joey's coffee club each week and I still teach.
Please consider walking with me or sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
God bless
Mary Frees
